Tasks and functions of the RCC Commission for the Coordination of International Cooperation (CIC)

Preparation of draft legal documents governing the activities of the RCC on issues of international cooperation.

Coordination of interaction between the Communications Administrations in the preparation of joint contributions, the development of national positions, as well as in the protection of common interests at international forums held by ITU, UPU and other international organizations.

Ensuring coordination of the activities of the members of the Coordination Council in developing agreed positions in international forums.

Preparation of proposals for the interaction of the RCC communications administrations in the implementation of various international projects for the development of postal and electric communications conducted by ITU, UPU, UNDP, EU and major foreign companies.

Preparation of topics, materials and coordination of plans for seminars, symposia and conferences held by various international organizations, foreign communications administrations and firms for RCC communications administrations.

Development of agreed proposals on the main areas of RCC international cooperation with other international and regional organizations, foreign communications administrations, national operators and major manufacturers of communications equipment.

Preparation of draft agreements on international cooperation in the field of communication with foreign partners based on mutual interests.

Preparation of proposals and recommendations on attracting new RCC Members.

Organization of the information exchange of the RCC Communications Administrations on issues of international cooperation with international and regional organizations, foreign communications administrations, national operators, and the largest companies.
