The 17th International Conference of Administrators and Registrars of National Top Level Domains of the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe (TLDCON) was held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, on 5-6 September 2024.

Alexey Borodin, RCC Director General, and his deputy - Maria Bolshakova took part in the Conference events.

The conference gathered over 130 professionals on the Marriott Hotel in Minsk, and another 900 people joined the conference online.

The conference programme included 6 working sessions with over 40 speakers. During two days the participants discussed many key issues, exchanged knowledge and experience, and outlined important plans for the future.

TLDCON 2024 participants focused on the issues of reliability and security of national Internet segments, regulation of SSL certificates, development of the Internet governance system and regulation of the Internet space, as well as the launch of the second phase of the New gTLD programme.

As part of TLDCON-2024, the organisers of the event conducted an interview with the RCC Director General, in which Alexey Borodin touched upon the RCC's plans for work in the region and at the global level, in particular on the Internet issues of most interest.

The conference is organised by the .RU/.RF Coordination Centre, general partner - Internet Technical Centre. Partners - MSK-IX, RosNIIROS and Runiti Group of Companies, hoster.by - the conference host.

The next, 18th International Conference of Administrators and Registrars of National Top Level Domains of the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe will be held in autumn 2025 in Kaliningrad.
