On 15 July 2024, Alexey Borodin, Director General of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications, and Khalid Jamali, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador  of Pakistan to the Russian Federation, had an official meeting.  

The parties discussed topical issues of cooperation between the RCC states and Pakistan in the field of information, communications and communication technologies, and among other things, the prospects of formalisation of such cooperation, as well as possible ways to strengthen common efforts of the members of the Commonwealth and stakeholders from Pakistan in the international arena, in particular, in the field of postal communications.
