On 25 June 2024, during the three-day International Telecommunication Union (ITU) training workshop on ICT statistics for measuring universal and meaningful digital connectivity for CIS states (Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, 24-27 June 2024), RCC Director General, Alexey Borodin, made a presentation on the RCC experience in ICT statistics as part of the thematic session of the workshop.

In particular, he highlighted the retrospective work on the RCC Statistical Compendium and its various reprints, efforts to conduct Regional Monitoring of Info-communication Development and other related aspects of the Commonwealth's activities. In addition, the prospects for cooperation between the RCC and the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee were briefly outlined, including within the framework of the relevant Memorandum of Understanding, as well as possible further steps to expand the presence of RCC Member-States in ITU international rankings.
