On 23 May 2024 in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, ComNews Information Group held the II International Conference "Telecom Eurasia: Innovation, Interoperability and Convergence of Cellular, Optical and Satellite Communications Networks for the Digital Economy".
The event was held with the support of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications.
Discussions during the Telecom Eurasia conference focused on practical experience, strategies and solutions for wireless technologies, deployment of mobile broadband networks, satellite communications, innovative technologies based on next generation networks, construction of backbone optical communication networks and infrastructure for laying FOCLs.
RCC Director General Alexey Borodin opened the plenary session of the Conference, welcoming the participants of the meeting and wishing them lively and rich discussions.
The plenary session was also attended by Sergey Pastukh, Chairman of the RCC Working Group on Preparations for the Radiocommunication Assembly (RA)/World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC), Vice-Chairman of the ITU Preparatory Meeting for WRC-23, who in his speech highlighted the key outcomes of the World Radiocommunication Conference 2023.
For Session 1 of the general programme of the Conference "Communication Networks as the Basis of the Digital Economy. Telecom Infrastructure Development: Innovative Technologies and New Opportunities" was moderated by Maria Bolshakova, RCC Acting Deputy Director General.
