The Fifth Global Symposium on Standards (GSS-24) will be held on October 14, 2024 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India, chaired by Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyaya, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Project Board of the Center for Telematics Development.
The theme of GSS-24 is "Creating the next digital wave: new technologies, innovations and international standards".
The Global Standards Symposium is a high-level forum for discussion and coordination open to both ITU members and non-members.
In preparation for the Global Standards Symposium, a GSS Steering Committee has been established to assist in the development of a report of the GSS findings to the
WTSA-24.
From the Regional Commonwealth of Communications, the GSS Steering Committee consisted of:
Alexey Borodin - Director General of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications.
and Elmar Mammadov - representative of the Supervisory Board of the Nizami Ganjavi Center for Smart Sustainable Regions and Cities of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The steering committee consists of 17 members and will be chaired by Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay.
