On February 1, 2024, the Digital Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, opened in Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan).

The Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Musin B.B. and the Deputy Secretary General of the SCO G. S. Logvinov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

On behalf of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications, the SCO Digital Forum is attended by First Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus Tkach P.N., Minister of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Kutnaeva N.A., Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Shadaev M.I., Deputy Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Atoev I.D., First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Pekos O.A.

The idea of holding the SCO Digital Forum was put forward by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev during an online meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States, held under the chairmanship of the Republic of India on July 4, 2023.

The Forum will last until February 3.
