On October 12, the opening of the 2nd IT-Akademgrad Forum and the exhibition “Artificial Intelligence in Belarus”, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of the Republic of Belarus, took place in Minsk.

The initiators and organizers of the Forum were the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the State Scientific Institution “United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”.

The purpose of the forum is to demonstrate achievements in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics.

Representatives of the Secretariat of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, the RCC Executive Committee, and the communications administrations of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the opening of the Forum.

From the Communications Administration of Belarus, the First Deputy Minister of Communications and Information, Pavel Nikolaevich Tkach, took part in the opening of the Forum.

The large-scale event includes an exhibition, round tables and other thematic platforms.

The forum began with an award ceremony for the winners of the competition “Leaders of Artificial Intelligence in Belarus - 2023”.

It is pleasant to note that RUE "Beltelecom" was awarded a Diploma in the nomination "Company - Leader of Artificial Intelligence in Belarus."

An exhibition of significant domestic developments in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics was organized at the forum.

About 50 organizations from the country took part in the forum and demonstrated their achievements in the field of artificial intelligence at the exhibition. These are research organizations engaged in research in the field of application of artificial intelligence methods, representatives of educational institutions, and private companies. In total, more than 100 projects are presented at the exhibition.
