The 41st meeting of the Working Group on the Work with the ITU at the RCC Commission for Coordination of International Cooperation was held on 19-20 April 2023 in hybrid format of a videoconference.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Working Group on the Work with ITU at the RCC, Advisor to Director General of the "Russian Satellite Communication Company" Alexey Borodin.

Welcoming remarks were made by Nurudin Mukhitdinov, General-Director of the RCC Executive Committee.

The event was attended by representatives of Communication Administrations of Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation and Turkmenistan, with the participation of experts from the RCC member organizations.

The meeting was attended by observers from the IOSC Intersputnik and the International Communications Academy.

The following issues were considered at the meeting:

- the election of Vice-Chairmen of the ITU Working Group at the CIC;

- appointment of coordinators of the ITU Working Group on the key activities of the preparation of the RCC CAs for major international events;

- on the UN Secretary-General's Global Digital Compact initiative (Global Digital Compact: current status of discussion)

- the nomination of the RCC candidate to the Independent Management Advisory Committee of the International Telecommunication Union (IMAC ITU)

- on preparations for the next Council session of the International Telecommunication Union 2023 (July 11-21, 2023, Geneva)

- on preparation of the RCC CAs for the meeting of the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group (May 30 - June 2, 2023, Geneva);

- on preparation of the RCC CAs for the meeting of the Telecommunication Development Advisory Group (19 - 23 June 2023, Geneva).
