The 12th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference on Telecommunications and Information Technologies was opened by Ovezov Bayramgeldi Orazgeldievich, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on the industrial and communication complex.

     In the framework of the plenary session “Development of the information and communication technology industry - a key factor in the economy”, Minister of Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan Durkhanov Takhyrberdi Charyberdievich welcomed participants.

     With the keynote speech of the plenary session “Development of the Information and Communication Technologies Industry
 - a key factor in the economy ”was made by the Director General of the RCC Executive Committee Mukhitdinov Nurudin Nasretdinovich.
For many years, TurkmenTel has been a unique platform for an intensive exchange of experience and a meeting place for representatives of the telecommunications sector.

     The exhibition was organized by the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan. Presenting the latest technologies, telecommunication companies and companies showing interest in this industry took part in the exhibition.

     On November 28, the 2nd day of the International Conference “TurkmenTel-2019” was held, within the framework of which the Director of the National Agency “Turkmenaragatnashyk” of the Ministry of Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan Khudayigulyev Khadzhimyrat Shikhmyradovich greeted the participants.

     Among the participants of “TurkmenTel-2019”, representatives of the Council of Telecommunication and Infocommunication Operators of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications, representatives of satellite operators took part in the exhibition and conference.

Within the framework of TurkmenTel-2019, the Director General of the RCC Executive Committee, Mukhitdinov Nurudin Nasretdinovich, held numerous meetings and negotiations with the leadership and heads of delegations of RCC telecom operators.

An important aspect of the final day of TurkmenTel-2019 was the signing of an interstate agreement on laying a main fiber-optic cable line along the bottom of the Caspian Sea between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

     The interstate agreement "On the organization of assistance in the joint construction, ownership and use of fiber-optic communication lines along the bottom of the Caspian Sea along the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan route by the communication operators of the Azerbaijan Republic and Turkmenistan" was signed by Azerbaijan Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Zeynalov Hasan Sultan oglu and Director of the National Turkmenaragatnashyk agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communications Khudayigulyev Khadzhimyrat Shikhmyradovich from Turkme Istana.
