On 15 February 2023, a meeting of Commission on Economic Issues at Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Moscow. During the meeting, a number of aspects of economic cooperation among the CIS Member-States were discussed.

Natalya Zorya, Deputy General-Director of the RCC Executive Committee, took part in the meeting.

To the members of the Commission Natalia Zorya submitted for the consideration the draft Protocol on amendments to the Agreement on cooperation of the CIS Member-States in establishing interoperable national telemedicine systems and their further development and usage, dated November 19, 2010.

The draft Protocol provides for specifying and expanding the sphere of cooperation of the CIS Member-States in the area of creating a common medical information space based on integration of regional and national telemedicine consultation and diagnostic systems, taking into account new opportunities for providing telemedicine services to the citizens of the CIS Member-States, including high-tech and highly professional medical care based on the use of modern information and communication technologies.

Based on the results of the discussion, the document will be finalized for further consideration of the CIS highest bodies.

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 28 March 2023.
