August 11, 2022, in the village. Sary-Oi, Issyk-Kul region, Kyrgyz Republic, the 38th meeting of the Working Group for Work with ITU under the RCC Commission for Coordination of International Cooperation took place.

The meeting was opened by Alexey Sergeevich Borodin, Chairman of the Working Group on Work with the International Telecommunication Union under the RCC Commission for the Coordination of International Cooperation.

From the host side, the Chairman of the Service for Regulation and Supervision in the Communications Industry under the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Abdullaeva Zhibek Sadykbaevna delivered a welcoming speech.

Further, the Director General of the RCC Executive Committee Mukhitdinov Nurudin Nasretdinovich addressed the meeting participants with a welcoming speech.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Communications Administrations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the ITU Regional Office for the ITU Region, the International Academy of Communications and the RCC Executive Committee.

The members of the Working Group considered the following issues:

- on the results of the work of the RCC CA delegations at the ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference 2022 (WTDC-22).

- on the preparation of the RCC CAs for the ITU World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly in 2024 (WTSA-24).

- on the final stage of RCC CAs preparation for the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in 2022 (PP-22):

- Consideration of candidates for elected positions in the working bodies of PC-22.

- consideration of candidates for the positions of chairmen and deputy chairmen. Chairmen, Working Parties and Expert Groups of the ITU Council beyond PP-22.

- consideration of the draft General Proposals of the RCC CAs (RCC OP) at SC-22;

- about the place, time and agenda of the joint 40th meeting of the Working Group on work with ITU under the CIC.

Concluding the 38th meeting of the Working Group on Work with the ITU under the RCC Commission for the Coordination of International Cooperation, the Director General of the RCC Executive Committee Mukhitdinov Nurudin Nasretdinovich thanked the Chairman of the Working Group Aleksey Sergeevich Borodin for the work done.
