On June 8, 2022, within the framework of the RCC Coordinating Meeting, a working meeting was held between the Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau Doreen Bogdan Martin and the delegation of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications at the ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-21).

Colleagues exchanged views on the work done by the ITU-D Sector during the reporting period, on a positive approach to the consideration of agenda items at WTDC-21.

In order to strengthen international cooperation at WTDC, it was noted at the meeting that special attention at WTDC-21 is given to new strategies aimed at encouraging the commitment of both the private and public sectors to rapidly expand inclusive and sustainable communication through the Partner2 Connect Digital Coalition.
