The 11th meeting of the RCC Commission on the Development of the Information Society and Digital Transformation (RCC Commission on DIS and DT) was held via videoconference.

The meeting was opened by Mukhitdinov Nurudin Nasretdinovich, General-Director of the RCC Executive Committee.

In accordance with the RCC regulations, in the absence of the Chairman of the RCC Working Body, the Deputy Chairman presides over the session.

The 11th meeting of the RCC Commission on Development of Information Society and Digital Transformation was chaired by the Vice-Chairman of the RCC Commission on DIS and DT, Mansurov Anvar Rustamovich, the Head of e-Government Development Department of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The 11th meeting of the RCC Commission on DIS and DT was attended by: representatives of the Communications Administrations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan, staff of the ICT Core Organization of the CIS Member-States, IOSC “Intersputnik”, Secretariat of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Council as well as invited participants from the CIS Executive Committee and the RCC Executive Committee.

The RCC Commission on DIS and DT is the key working body of the RCC on the digital transformation of the RCC Member-States.

As a part of the above-mentioned RCC meeting it traditionally reviewed the following topical issues: on perspective directions in the field of digital development in the RCC Member-States, on approval of the Action Plan for implementation of the Strategy for Information Security of the Commonwealth of Independent States until 2030, on progress of the Strategy for CIS Member-States Cooperation in Building and Developing Information Society until 2025 and the Action Plan for its implementation until 2025, on the status of the CIS Member-States cooperation in the field of information security.

The participants of the meeting thanked the RCC Executive Committee for the good preparation of the material and for the technical support for the 11th meeting of the RCC Commission on DIS and DT in the form of videoconference.
