A Special Interregional Session was held during the 66th/33rd joint meeting of the RCC Board of Ministers and the CIS Coordination Council under the RCC. The session focused on the elections to be held at the upcoming 2026 ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (PP‑26).

We remind you that PP‑26 will elect:

• Five highest officials of the ITU — the Secretary‑General, the Deputy Secretary‑General, and the directors of the Union's three technical Bureaus

• 48 Member States to serve on the ITU Council

• 12 members of the Radio Regulations Board

For the post of Deputy Secretary‑General:
