The Forum is organized by the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of Tajikistan.

During the opening ceremony of Taj‑Tech 2026, welcoming addresses were delivered by:

• Mr. Hokim Kholiqzoda, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan

• Mr. Khurshed Mirzo, Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan

• Ms. Parvathy Ramaswami, UN Resident Coordinator for Tajikistan

• Mr. Leandro Slovinski, Director of Beyond Investments

• Mr. Emmanuel Ganne, Chief of Digital Trade and Frontier Technologies at the WTO

• Mr. Cosmas Luckyson Zavazava, Director of the ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT)

The Forum opened with the plenary session "Digital Future: From National Strategies to International Partnership," attended by:

• Mr. Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan

• Mr. Jamol Makhsudov, Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan

• Mr. Altynbek Toktorbayev, Chairman of the Service for Regulation and Supervision in the Communications Industry under the Kyrgyz Republic’s Ministry of Digital Development and Innovation Technologies

• Mr. Alexey Borodin, Director General of the RCC

During the plenary session, participants shared key achievements in implementing national digitalization programs and examined common growth areas for digital transformation in the region.

Taj‑Tech 2026 will continue from September 29 to 30 and serve as an international platform for discussing:

• Digital transformation

• Artificial intelligence (AI)

• Innovation

• Development of the startup ecosystem and digital infrastructure

• International technological cooperation
