The Forum's discussions on September 23 focused on the following areas:

►  Practical Application

Today, AI, cloud computing, AI infrastructure, e‑commerce, and digital platforms are becoming tools for economic growth and new services.

►  State and Governance

The role of the state is to create conditions for AI development: regulation, digital platforms, data, trust, and interagency coordination.

►  Ecosystem and Talent

The key to success lies in developing AI alliances, local AI‑based solutions, universities, IT parks, Huawei ICT Academies, and specialist training programs.

The Forum featured a panel discussion that brought together the government agenda, international expert perspectives, AI infrastructure issues, e‑commerce, and local AI‑based solutions.

The discussion was attended by:

•  Mr. Farrukh Karabaev, Deputy Chairman of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

•  Mr. Vladimir Norov, Chairman of the Central Asian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AICA)

•  Mr. Alexey Borodin, Director General of the RCC

•  Mr. Ruslan Namazov, CTO and CPO at Uzum

•  Mr. Spartak Tetrashvili, CEO of TBC Bank Uzbekistan

•  Mr. Bobur Abdullaev, Rector of Inha University in Tashkent.

•  Mr. Reshat Boltayev, ICT Solutions Architect at Huawei, moderated the discussion.

During the discussion, Mr. Alexey Borodin highlighted priorities within the regional AI agenda, including:

•  The central areas of cooperation in infrastructure, data, standards, and competencies

•  The RCC's role in shaping a joint AI ecosystem.
