On June 6, 2026, a session titled "Digital Children: Who Is Responsible?" took place during SPIEF‑2026. It was organized by the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment, an RCC member.
Moderated by Ms. Nina Fedorova, Head of International Relations at the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment, the discussion participants — representatives of government authorities, the private sector, and international organizations — discussed:
• The challenges facing children in the digital environment
• The role of artificial intelligence (AI), which is both a threat and an integral part of comprehensive child online protection activities
• The need for thematic international cooperation with the comprehensive participation of all stakeholders.

RCC Director General Mr. Alexey Borodin noted that, on the eve of the session, the RCC Board of Ministers approved the Declaration on Child Protection in the Digital Environment. The declaration is expected to serve as a basis for further practical steps in child online protection at both the regional and international levels.
