On June 4, 2026, in St. Petersburg, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the RCC organized a panel session titled "The Digital Future: Shared Development Pathways, Challenges and Solutions".
Heads of communications administrations of Commonwealth member states discussed key issues of digitalization in the region. Their perspectives were shared by:
• Mr. Kirill Zalessky, Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus
• Mr. Isfandiyori Sa’dullo, Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan
• Mr. Hadjimurat Khudayguliev, Minister of Communications of Turkmenistan
• Mr. Maksut Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation
• Mr. Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan
• Mr. Doszhan Musaliev, Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• Mr. Altynbek Toktorbaev, Chair of the Service for Regulation and Supervision in the Communications Industry under the Ministry of Digital Development.
RCC Director General Mr. Alexey Borodin moderated the session.
Session participants discussed optimal approaches to regulating the digital environment at the regional level, as well as cooperation in digital transformation, IT industry development, and the deployment of new technologies.
