On the eve of the RCC meetings marking the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth's founding, an official noonday cannon shot ceremony was held at the Gosudarev Bastion of the Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg on June 3, 2026.

Representatives of delegations from communications administrations and communications industry companies of RCC member states took part in the ceremonial event.

RCC Director General Mr. Alexey Borodin fired the shot at 12:00 Moscow time.

On June 4, 2026, the joint 1st/49th meeting of the RCC Commission on Telecommunications Regulation and the RCC Telecommunications and Infocommunication Operators Board commences at the Mariinsky Palace in St. Petersburg.

On June 5, 2026, the Mariinsky Palace will host the the joint 65th/32nd meeting of the Board of Heads of Communications Administrations (Members of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications) and the Coordination Council of the CIS Member States on Informatization of the RCC.
