On May 20–21, 2026, the annual GSMA M360 Eurasia Conference is taking place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
This year, the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) is acting as a partner for the conference.
The program of the 2026 conference opened with a high‑level plenary session titled "Government 4.0: Digital Public Infrastructure and AI‑Powered Government Services," featuring the following speakers:
Mr. Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Mr. Alexey Borodin, Director General of the RCC
Mr. John Giusti, Chief Regulatory Officer of the GSMA
Mr. Kaan Terzioglu, CEO of VEON Group
Mr. Evgeniy Nastradin, CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan
Ms. Carolina Bugaian, CEO of Moldcell SA
Ms. Natalia Mochu, Regional Director of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The session participants discussed the large‑scale digital transformation of public administration in the region, focusing on artificial intelligence and global process automation.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Alexey Borodin emphasized specific practical steps needed for the cross‑border implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in public administration and services, taking into account the similarities and differences among the countries of the region.
