Victory Day – May 9 – is a date that unites generations, reminding us of the fortitude, courage, and selflessness of those who defended the freedom and independence of our shared homeland.
On this day, we bow our heads in tribute to the millions of soldiers, officers, and home front workers — all those who brought Victory closer at the cost of incredible effort and sacrifice.
In those harsh years, reliable communication was not just a technical task — it became a matter of life and death, a decisive factor in the success of military operations. Thanks to the clear and uninterrupted work of signal corps personnel, commanders were able to coordinate troop actions, and soldiers could receive timely orders. Under enemy fire and in all conditions, our predecessors fulfilled their duty, often risking their lives to accomplish the mission.
Today, you — the heirs to their legacy — continue to bear this great responsibility, ensuring the reliability and security of communications.
On this Victory Day, we wish you and your loved ones good health, well‑being, and a peaceful sky above.
May the memory of our ancestors' heroism inspire us to new achievements, and may pride in our shared past and in our profession give us strength in our daily work.
With respect,
The RCC Executive Committee
