The March 4 roundtable focused on two key themes:

- Conditions for innovation in artificial intelligence (AI)

- Approaches to ensuring the effective functioning of emergency alert systems.

The roundtable was moderated by Mr. Tair Ismailov, Strategic Engagement Director for Russia and CIS at the GSM Association (GSMA).

The roundtable participants included high-ranking representatives of RCC communications administrations:

•  Mr. Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Board of the RCC Communications Administrations Heads

•  Mr. Doszhan Musaliev, Vice-Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan

•  Mr. Ruben Simonyan, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia

•  Mr. Parviz Noriyon, First Deputy Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

From the RCC, Deputy Director General Maria Bolshakova also participated in the discussion, along with representatives of telecommunications operators from Commonwealth member states, including Tojiktelecom, Beeline Kazakhstan, Mobiuz, Beeline Uzbekistan, Tele2 Kazakhstan, Takom, and Tcell.

The roundtable also included representatives from Pakistan's communications administration and telecom operators, experts from the GSMA, and a representative from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) secretariat.
