On March 2, on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress (MWC-2026) in Barcelona, the Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Isfandiyori Sadullo, met with ITU Secretary-General Ms. Doreen Bogdan-Martin.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding bilateral cooperation, developing digital infrastructure, and strengthening interaction through Tajikistan’s participation in ITU international initiatives.

A key topic of discussion was the preparation for the upcoming joint meeting of the Board of the RCC CAs Heads and the ITU Regional Development Forum for the RCC/CIS region, to be held in Dushanbe in September 2026.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the partnership and developing joint projects.
