Following the meetings of the ITU Council Working Groups (CWG) and Experts Groups (EG), held from January 12 to 23, 2026, in Geneva, a decision was made to hold additional CWG meetings and information sessions:

Informal Expert Group (IEG) for the Preparation of the Seventh World Telecommunication/ICT Policy Forum (WTPF-26):

- February 24, 2026 – 13:00–16:00 (informal virtual meeting)

- March 19, 2026 – 13:00–16:00 (informal virtual meeting)

- April 26, 2026 – 09:30–12:30 and 14:30–17:30 (informal in-person meeting, Room C, with remote participation available)

Council Working Group for Strategic and Financial Plans of the Union for 2028–2031 (CWG-SFP):

- April 27, 2026 – 09:30–12:30 (additional in-person meeting, Room C, with remote participation available)

- April 27, 2026 – 14:30–17:30 (joint in-person meeting with the CWG on Financial and Human Resources, Room C)

Council Working Group on Financial and Human Resources (CWG-FHR):

- March 3, 2026 – 13:00–14:00 (virtual information session on the methodology for provision of estimates of the financial implications of proposed decisions and resolutions at ITU conferences and assemblies)

- March 5, 2026 – 13:00–14:00 (virtual information session on the review of ITU regional presence)
