RCC Director General Alexey Borodin and Mr. Tair Ismailov, Director for Strategic Engagement in Russia and the CIS at the GSM Association (GSMA), met at the RCC Executive Committee office in Moscow.

The parties discussed:

• Preparations for RCC events at the upcoming M360 Eurasia Conference. The conference is being organized by the GSMA in Samarkand this May with the support of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Digital Technologies

• Plans to jointly conduct thematic workshops and panel discussions on the sidelines of RCC meetings

• Progress in developing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Commonwealth and the Association, along with other related matters.

The GSMA is both a member of the RCC and a longstanding organizational partner for Commonwealth events.

The Association's expertise significantly contributes to discussions within various RCC bodies. These include, in particular, the RCC Telecommunication and Infocommunication Operators Board, the RCC Commission on the Regulation of the Usage of the Radio Frequency Spectrum and Satellite Orbits, and the RCC Commission for the Coordination of International Cooperation, along with their respective working groups.
