Today, November 27, 2025, during the plenary meeting of the World Telecommunication Development Conference, several representatives from RCC communications administrations were elected to leadership positions in the working bodies of the ITU Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D) for the 2026-2029 term. The approved posts include:

• Vice-Chair of the Telecommunication Development Advisory Group: Aichurok Maralbek kyzy (Kyrgyz Republic)

• Vice-Chair of the Telecommunication Development Advisory Group: Arseniy Plosskiy (Russian Federation)

• Vice-Chair of ITU-D Study Group 1: Ilgar Abdullayev (Republic of Azerbaijan)

• Vice-Chair of ITU-D Study Group 1: Anastasia Konukhova (Russian Federation)

• Vice-Chair of ITU-D Study Group 1: Umida Musaeva (Republic of Uzbekistan)

• Vice-Chair of ITU-D Study Group 2: Uliana Stolyarova (Russian Federation)

• Vice-Chair of ITU-D Study Group 2: Javokhir Aripo (Republic of Uzbekistan)
