The ITU Global Youth Celebration (GYC) is being held in Baku, Azerbaijan on November 16, 2025, one day before the opening of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC).

Theme of the GYC: "Youth Voices: Shaping the Digital Future".

The goal of the GYC is to recognize the role of young people in digital development by providing them with opportunities to:

• Network with policymakers, role models, and other stakeholders.

• Explore the challenges and opportunities of the digital era through hands-on experience.

• Visit some of Azerbaijan's most dynamic and advanced technological facilities.

The GYC builds upon the outcomes of the Global Youth Summit, organized by the Government of Cuba on March 11-13, 2025, which culminated in the adoption of a thematic outcome document.

Young people from RCC member countries, particularly from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia, participated in the event in Cuba.

Unlike the summit in Cuba, the GYC is not expected to produce an official outcome document.
