From November 12-13, the Turkmenistan Digital Forum will host the following events:
• TurkmenTEL: A long-standing conference and exhibition, a traditional event for Central Asia.
• The International Transport and Transit Corridors Conference (ITTC 2025)
• The inaugural national FinTech Forum.
The Turkmenistan Digital Forum was organized by the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan, with the official support of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan and national telecommunications operators.
RCC Director General Alexey Borodin participated as an honored guest in the plenary session marking the opening of both TurkmenTEL and ITTC 2025. In his welcoming address, he noted that:
"The region is developing dynamically, with logistics and digital connectivity at the heart of this progress. New and emerging technologies are central to this transformation. Technological development in the region is now focused on several key areas: the implementation of AI and Big Data, the advancement of e-government systems, and the creation of favorable conditions for the technology sector. This is being achieved through the establishment of IT Parks, the digitalization of logistics, and the development of communication systems in both geostationary and non-geostationary satellite orbits… Of course, a reliable energy supply is a crucial foundation for this technological development, particularly for powering AI and its evolution."
The forum brings together representatives of government agencies, international organizations, academia, and businesses from Turkmenistan and dozens of countries worldwide.
The forum program covers a range of critical topics, including:
• The Digital Economy
• Telecommunications
• Transport Logistics
• "Smart" Cities
• AI, Big Data, and Blockchain
• Cybersecurity
Specific sessions at the Turkmenistan Digital Forum are dedicated to:
• International transport corridors and new logistics solutions
• Financial technologies for the digital economy ⠀
