ChatGPT won't share all tips: OpenAI's new restrictions

OpenAI has made significant changes to its ChatGPT policy. The model will no longer provide specific recommendations in the following areas:
• Medicine
• Law
• Finance

The essence of the changes is that the company has limited the provision of information that could be interpreted as:
• Professional advice
• Trusted recommendation
• Legally binding instructions

These measures are in accordance with:
• The European Union's Artificial Intelligence Act
• FDA guidelines

In practice, instead of providing detailed consultations, ChatGPT:
• Refuses to comment on medical photos
• Does not review legal cases
• Does not provide financial advice
• Refer users to specialized specialists

This decision is based on real incidents related to the use of AI:
• A lawyer's career was ruined due to a malfunctioning neural network
• An American was hospitalized following AI medical advice
• A family suffered mushroom poisoning after using an AI-generated catalog of edible mushrooms

Although the new rules do not prohibit specialists from using ChatGPT, in an effort to improve the effectiveness of its services, raises a serious question: how can I verify my professional affiliation when using the model?

Perhaps the developers presented the updates to ChatGPT's ethics policy as the first stage in preparation for the release of specialized solutions for professional communities.
