The International Telecommunication Union will host the 16th ITU Kaleidoscope conference for academics from the communications industry as part of the 2026 AI for Good Forum.
In preparation for ITU Kaleidoscope, we invite research papers on three themes in AI development and application:
• Technical innovations,
• Applications and services for sustainable development,
• Socioeconomic and regulatory-ethical aspects,
Important information:
• Submitted papers will be published in the conference proceedings,
• Extended versions of some papers will be published in the ITU Journal on Future and Evolving Technologies,
• The authors of the three best papers will receive special ITU awards,
• Young researchers under 30 years of age who present their work at the conference will receive Young Author Recognition certificates.
Key dates:
• December 15, 2025 - submission deadline
• March 16, 2026 - notification of participants about the selection process
• April 13, 2026 - receipt of authors' completed versions of their papers for publication, in accordance with the conference requirements
• July 7-11, 2026 - AI for Good Forum in Geneva, Switzerland
