From October 2nd to 4th, Digital Bridge 2025 brought together global leaders in the digital industry, venture capital, science, and education at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana, bringing together 30 000+ participants, 100+ investor companies and private venture capitalists, 400+ speakers, and 130+ startups and IT companies from 30+ countries.
The theme of Digital Bridge 2025 was Generative Nation — a concept reflecting Kazakhstan's strategic focus on building a knowledge society based on advanced technologies and AI.
"Artificial intelligence is the reality of our time." Given that the main vector of human development in the coming years will be directly linked to AI, I believe that starting next year, our forum should be called AI Bridge... The Forum's new focus will give additional impetus to international cooperation and ensure that artificial intelligence serves the progress of all humanity",
said The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during the opening plenary session of Digital Bridge 2025.
The forum program was structured around six key areas:
• Startups Bridge,
• Tech Bridge,
• Global Bridge,
• Government Bridge,
• Talent Bridge, and
• Creative Bridge.
Digital Bridge 2025 also featured:
• the final round of the Astana Hub Battle startup competition with a $100 000 prize fund,
• the national Digital Bridge Awards ceremony,
• Startup Alley, where young companies presented their ideas to thousands of Forum participants, and
• an IT company exhibition.
Furthermore, dozens of agreements were signed at the venue, opening up new opportunities for Kazakhstani companies to enter international markets, attract investment, and strengthen the foundations of the digital state.
This year, for the first time, a series of large-scale events dedicated to AI — AI Week — was held as part of the now-traditional Digital Bridge forum from September 26 to October 4, 2025.
The program included lectures, seminars, presentations, high-profile competitions and championships, mentoring sessions, and live discussions.
The forum was held by the Astana Hub International Innovation Cluster jointly with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
