The Global Symposium for Regulators 2025 (GSR-25) was launched in Riyadh under the chairmanship of H.E. Haitham Alohali, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

GSR-25, organized by the Saudi Arabian Communications, Space and Technology Commission in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union, is held under the slogan:
Regulation for sustainable Digital development.

The event is attended by representatives of the RCC Communications Administrations from:

• The Republic of Azerbaijan
• The Republic of Armenia
• Of the Russian Federation
• The Republic of Uzbekistan

On the agenda:

• Artificial intelligence technologies and their regulation
• Sixth generation (6G) networks
• Integration of terrestrial and non-terrestrial communication networks
• Cybersecurity and sustainability of digital infrastructure
• Bridging the digital divide and ensuring universal connectivity
