
The 2025 WSIS Awards ceremony was held during the WSIS+20 High-Level Event.
The 18 winning and 72 runners-up projects from around the world represent a diverse range of initiatives that are driving digital transformation and development through ICTs around the world — projects are categorized under the WSIS Action Lines (ALs) outlined in the Geneva Plan of Action.
The winners of the WSIS Awards from the RCC/CIS region are:
• for WSIS AL C1. The role of government bodies and all stakeholders in promoting the use of ICTs for development — the Situational-Analytical Complex of the Engineering and Technical Center of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
• for WSIS AL C7. ICT-based applications: benefits in all aspects of life. E-employment — a project to form a Graduates Employment Ranking of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Awardees of the WSIS Awards from the RCC/CIS region were projects in the following categories of the WSIS ND:
• C1. — IT Park Uzbekistan project of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
• C7. ICT-based applications: benefits in all aspects of life. E-health — KOLD project, Telepresence Suit for metaverse interconnection of the St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after prof. M.A. Bonch-Bruevich, Russian Federation,
• C9. Media — AgroSpace Platform project of AgroInformAsia company, Kyrgyz Republic.
