During the first plenary session of the ITU Council, the Republic of Azerbaijan presented information on the preparations for the World Telecommunication Development Conference, which will begin its work in Baku in November this year.
Following a visit to the Conference venue, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union Doreen Bogdan-Martin and Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau at the International Telecommunication Union Cosmas L. Zavazava expressed confidence that WTDC-2025 will be held at the highest level.
Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sammedin Asadov, who is heading the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the Council session, assured that the preparations are in their active phase and will be completed at the proper level within the established time frame.
