On June 9, 2025, within the framework of the Regional Forum "Technologies of the Future: Artificial Intelligence, Metaverse, holography and other ICT, applications and services. Perspective 2030" a demonstration session of holographic telepresence technology was held.

     A team of scientists from Professor Andrey Kucheryavy's scientific school presented a telepresence suit, a system for receiving and presenting information about movement and tactile sensations. 

     The forum participants also witnessed a communication session using holographic presence technology between Moscow (MTUCI) and St. Petersburg (SPbGUT). 

     Holographic communication allows you to create three-dimensional images of a remote interlocutor in real time, providing the effect of his physical presence.
