On May 21, at the conclusion of the RCC Board and Coordination Council program activities, the RCC Executive Committee Office in Tashkent hosted a meeting between Alexey Borodin, RCC Director General, and Najibullah Hayat Haqqani, Head of the Communications Administration of Afghanistan and Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

     The parties discussed the prospects of participation of the Communications Administration of Afghanistan - an observer of the RCC Board - and its electric and postal operators in the activities of the Commonwealth.
