On January 21, 2025, Alexey Borodin, Director General of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC), paid a visit to The Bonch-Bruevich St Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (SPbSUT).

     The visit was also attended by Farid Nakhli, Program Coordinator of the International Telecommunication Union Regional Office (ITU RO) for the CIS region, and Konstantin Savin, expert of the International Telecommunication Union.

     The guests were welcomed by Ruslan Kirichok, Principal of SPbSUT, Albert Abilov, First Vice-Principal for Academic Affairs, and Yana Ilyinskaya, Head of the International Cooperation Department.

     The participants of the meeting discussed the development of the test laboratory of next generation switching systems (former Rostelecom laboratory) and the possibility of internships for students of the Digital Department of SPbSUT in the RCC. The parties also planned a number of events for the scientific community, information security specialists and students.
