On November 21, 2024, Director General of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications, Alexey Borodin, and his deputy, Maria Bolshakova, visited T8 production (Moscow, Russian Federation). Konstantin Marchenko, Deputy Director General for Strategic Development of T8, told about the company and gave a tour of the production facility.
T8 is a Russian developer and manufacturer of telecommunication spectrum densification (DWDM) equipment and solutions for optical infrastructure with a full cycle of development and production of world-class DWDM-systems.
Advanced solutions are created in the company's own optical laboratory by a team of experienced engineers, doctors and candidates of sciences, as well as graduates of the leading technical universities of the country. More than 130,000 km of fiber-optic communication lines have been built on T8 equipment, and the company occupies 30% of the Russian DWDM market.
The equipment under development is designed for building backbone, city communication networks and high-speed data center connections.
T8 solutions are used by telecom operators, IT-companies, financial organizations and industrial enterprises in organization of the backbone communication lines between Russian cities and connection of the data processing centers.
The hardware and software part is developed according to international standards and has a high potential for implementation on international communication networks.
